The Utah Bird Dog Club was formed in March of 2010 as a dog training club for bird dog fans in the state of Utah. The club was organized and spawned from a group of pointing dog owners who enjoyed getting together to train their various breeds of gun dogs. While some members enjoy hunting upland game and waterfowl, others are more into field trials and AKC hunt test. But, the common thread was well-trained and bidable bird dogs.
The club has a training day on the third Saturday of every month as well as conducting fun hunts and mock field trials to better prepare it’s members and their four-legged hunting buddies. Currently the training days rotate between dog training grounds in Beaver, Cedar City and Richfield, UT. With more to be announced soon.
If you own a hunting dog and are interested in training your dog to reach his full potential we invite you to “Come train with us…”.
